Your Better Business Bureau has identified the following businesses as offering services and products, which have resulted in numerous complaints alleging misleading ads/offers, unsatisfactory services and misrepresented products.
Each business identified in this BBB Accredited Business Member/Media Update has been contacted by BBB concerning their business practices, unresolved customer complaints, and failure to discontinue the cause of customer complaints.

 Tis the season to begin tax filing preparations, but tax preparers should be aware of the services offered by Doug Hughes, President & CEO of Tax Refund Xpress, LLC. This company offers various software products to assist independent tax preparers with performing tax preparation services. Thirty-eight (38) complaints on file with BBB allege the company's software is not compatible with certain operating systems or the software is missing components that will allow the program to run properly. Some complaints allege poor customer service as consumers are left on hold for extended periods of time, company representatives are unable to resolve problems, and customers are charged fees in order to obtain the components that will enable the software to function properly. Other complaints allege TRX offers a program for rebates on service fees that the independent tax preparer charges his or her customers; however, the company has failed to issue the rebates as promised. Most complaints request refunds, but the company claims no refund is due, as the independent tax preparer purchased a membership rather than software. A more appropriate name style for this firm may be Tax Refund Delays.

 Dr. William Mason, owner of Denture Express and At a Glace Dental Care, runs advertisements offering full dentures (upper and lower) starting at $345/set and partial dentures starting at $175/each. The low prices advertised attract consumers in need of denture care; however, after visiting Dr. Mason, many complain of the poor quality of the dentures, and some say the prices were much higher than advertised. In fact, BBB has received 17 customer complaints alleging poor product quality, poor customer service, failure to issue refunds, and misleading advertising. Complaints allege the dentures were either too big or too small for the customer's mouth causing soreness or irritation when eating. Some customers thought they were given somebody else's dentures because the dentures did not fit properly. Attempts to contact the doctor for assistance in fixing the dentures are denied as Dr. Mason refuses to see the patient to resolve the problem. Dr. Mason also denies the customer a refund even though the dentures do not fit properly. Sounds like the only express in this business is the rapidity in which advanced payments for dentures are accepted.

BBB files show a history of Mr. Taylor's get-rich-quick schemes. From educational entrepreneurial materials to his latest Clean Sweep Income Machines, investors have paid hundreds and sometimes thousands of dollars investing in Mr. Taylor's schemes. His latest, the Sweeps Income Machine, offers investors the opportunity to generate anywhere from $2,149.00 to $6,142.00 a month by investing approximately $5,000 per machine. The machines work by selling internet or phone usage in the form of tickets; each ticket, which corresponds to a certain amount of real-time internet or phone usage, is also an entry into a sweepstakes contest, offering prizes and payouts to winning tickets. These machines are illegal in some municipalities due to gambling laws, and many investors have lost their investment because the company failed to place the machines as promised or could not place the machines due to illegal gambling laws. The company also failed to issue refunds resulting in an F rating with BBB.

Twenty-one (21) customers complained to BBB about this company's failure to begin or complete contracted roof repairs or replacement, failure to honor appointments, and inability to return phone calls. BBB attempted to gain this company's voluntary cooperation in resolving its customer complaints by contacting this business over 60 times; however, the company has ignored BBB's repeated attempts resulting in an F rating and revocation of this company's BBB accreditation status.

 Custom Wheel Distributing, Inc.'s website shows a myriad of shiny chrome rims and accessories that any car buff would dream of owning. The company operates via its online warehouse offering the sale of custom wheels, chrome rims, tire packages, and accessories. BBB files contain a pattern of complaint alleging consumers ordered merchandise including wheels and accessories providing payment in advance. When the consumer received the product it was either damaged or the merchandise received was not what the consumer ordered. Complaints allege consumers attempted to resolve their concerns with the company and were promised replacement merchandise or refunds; however, the company failed to honor the promised resolution. The company has ignored 19 of the 22 complaints on file with BBB. Buyer Beware!
