The week before Christmas more and more kids will be searching out Santa Claus online. While this is a seemingly harmless and fun childhood tradition, there are plenty of concerns for parents. Some webmasters and product promoters don’t always hold Santa in the highest esteem and use these sites to prey on kids who simply want to talk to or write a letter to Santa.
Before allowing children to share any personal information with a "Letter to Santa” website, BBB recommends that parents carefully review sites to determine who is asking the information, how it will be used and whether it will be used with third parties.
